Low Cost - Over $100.00 less than the other Actuated Ball Valves including the Water Cop
With the S3412V ¾” Stainless Steel 12 VDC Actuated Ball Valve water shutoff valve you can rest at ease when you leave your home knowing you will not experience any water leaks because with any 12 volt relay you can automatically turn off your water when you leave home. This is good news if you have an Elk M1Gold or M1EZ8 alarm panel and a low budget. With the M1GOLD or M1EZ8 or any other panel that has a 12 volt contact relay you can automatically turn off the water to your house by simply setting your alarm. Compared to the Water Cop that sells for over 350 dollars, the Water Cop can only be installed inside. The S3412V Actuated Ball Valve may be installed inside or outside at a fraction of the cost. The IP67 (NEMA 6 Equivalent) housing protects the valve from most weather conditions, for obvious reasons damage could occur when operating the valve while pipes are frozen.

Application Examples:
- With the ELK-M1GOLD or ELK-M1EZ8 or any alarm system that allows automation rules you can program your panel to automatically turn off the main water when the alarm is set (typically in Away Mode) and then turn the water back on when the system is disarmed.
- With the ELK-M1GOLD or ELK-M1EZ8 or any alarm system that allows custom programming of buttons on the keypad you can program the buttons to turn on and off the water from the keypad without having to go outside or in the garage to perform maintenance such as changing inline water filters.
- Most all alarm systems support water sensors, putting water sensors under sinks behind washing machines, refrigerators with ice makers, and toilets your alarm panel will immediately shut the water off if one begins to leak, preventing loss of thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars in damage.
